AI memory, explained simply
AI memory lets an AI remember things between conversations. It might save your name, your job or how you like answers written.
It matters because without memory you must repeat yourself every time. With it, the AI feels more like a helper that knows you.
For example, you could tell an AI once that you are vegetarian. Later, when you ask for dinner ideas, it skips the meat dishes.
Memory also raises privacy questions. Look at what is stored and delete anything you don't want kept.
On ITG Now, our daily AI news and free tool guides cover memory features, including open source projects that add memory to AI agents.
