Voice cloning, explained simply
Voice cloning uses a short recording of someone's voice. The AI then speaks any text in a similar voice.
It has good uses, like restoring a voice for a person who lost theirs, or dubbing a video.
It also has risks. Scammers can fake a family member's voice on a call. Never trust a voice alone for money requests.
Only clone a voice with the owner's clear permission. Many tools ask you to confirm that you have it.
