What is Claude Code?
Claude Code is a coding tool from Anthropic that lets the Claude AI read your code, edit files and run commands for you.

Claude Code, explained simply
Claude Code is an AI coding agent made by Anthropic. You describe a task in plain words, and it works in your project.
It matters because you can build or fix things without doing every step yourself. It can also explain code you don't understand.
For example, you could ask it to add a contact form to your site. It finds the right files, makes the edits and tests the result.
You stay in charge. It asks permission before it takes some actions, and you should read what it changes.
