MIT License, explained simply
With the MIT License, you can use the code for almost anything, including business. You can change it and share it.
The main rule is that you keep the original copyright note and license text with it.
It also says the software comes with no warranty. If it breaks, the maker isn't liable.
This is general information, not legal advice.
On ITG Now, our tool guides label a tool's license, and MIT-licensed tools are among the most open to reuse.
