Software license, explained simply
Every project's license tells you whether you can use it, change it, share it, or sell it.
Some licenses are very relaxed. Others ask you to share your changes under the same rules.
This matters most if you plan to use a tool in a business. Always read the license.
For example, a license might let you use a tool at work, or only for personal use.
On ITG Now, our free tool guides note the license of each tool, so you know the basic rules before you use it.
