Model weights, explained simply
After training, the model's knowledge sits in a big file of numbers. Those numbers are the weights.
If you have the weights, you can run the model yourself. If you don't, you can only use it through the maker's service.
Think of the weights like a finished recipe book. The book is the result of all the cooking practice.
On ITG Now, our free tool guides tell you when you can download a model's weights to run it on your own computer.
