Workflow automation, explained simply
Workflow automation means setting up a chain of steps that runs on its own. When something happens, the next steps follow.
It matters because it saves you from boring, repeated work. It also cuts down on small mistakes from copying things by hand.
For example, when a form is filled in, your tool can add a row to a sheet and send you a message. You do nothing.
Adding AI to a workflow lets it handle steps like summarizing text or sorting emails.
