Prompt engineering, explained simply
Prompt engineering means shaping your instructions to get the result you want. It is about being clear, not about tricks.
It matters because small changes in wording can change the answer a lot. Good prompts save you time on retries.
For example, you can give the AI a role, a goal and a sample answer. Then you ask it to follow the same style.
If the first answer is off, say what to change and try again.
